Yes, it is true, I do offer my services as a bicycle mechanic in the Banbury-Don Mills region of Toronto. I prefer to do restoration work for old bicycles (because it is enjoyable), but if you want to hire me to fix your bicycle I can do that too.

Below is a list of services that I offer. Prices DO NOT include the cost of new parts.
BASIC TUNE UP PACKAGE - $50
2 to 3 hours of adjusting brakes, derailleurs, derailleur hanger adjusted and aligned if needed, pivots, chain and gear hubs lubricated, headset realigned if needed, seat post raised or lowered or realigned if desired, new tires or tubes installed, plus a thorough cleaning to remove excess grime and old dirt.
VIP TUNE UP PACKAGE - $120
7 to 8 hours of tender loving care. Same as above but you leave the bicycle with me for a day or two and I pay extra attention to fine tuning everything above and beyond the normal package. This is your chance to make special requests like having your hubs disassembled, cleaned, inspected and repacked with new bearings and greased, wheel truing, crankset removed and the bottom bracket tapers cleaned, or even a new paint job for the frame.
RESTORATION OF YE OLDE BICYCLE PACKAGE - $200
11 to 12 hours. A complete overhaul, de-rusting, repairing, re-tuning package to restore your antique bicycle to its former glory. If you want I can even repaint the frame in a colour of your choice. This is what I really enjoy doing so if you want your old bicycle restored back to near-mint condition this is the way to do it. For fun we also do Before and After photos to see how much changes during the process.
REMEMBER - Prices DO NOT include the cost of new parts or new paint.
ADD ON SERVICES
Bicycle Cleaning and De-Rusting Fee - $20.
Wheel Truing - $20.
Brake Adjustments - $20.
Derailleur Replacement - $20 + parts.
Cable and Housing Replacement - $10 + parts, cost is per cable.
